Apple could announce a revamped Apple TV in September. The set-top box would get an App Store and remote control with touchpad.
This was reported by John Paczkowski of BuzzFeed based on anonymous sources.
According Paczkowski, Apple was initially planning to unveil the new Apple TV in June during WWDC developer conference. Those plans were scrapped, according to the site to focus on music streaming service Apple Music and new versions of Apple software.
​Touchpad in Siri
With the unveiling of the new Apple TV would simultaneously with the new iPhone in September. The device itself would be smaller than the current Apple TV, which includes the Apple A8-chip faster and more storage space.
In addition, the remote control would have a touchpad, and the Apple TV would voice assistant Siri can be controlled. Besides the existing films and series would also be an app offering, by providing for an App Store for Apple TV.
